📖 Books I’m reading?

As some of you might know, I’ve been working on a children’s book set in Yemen about war. I have been looking for books related to the subject, to find inspiration from. And I found the picture book Fly Away Home* by Eve Bunting, which is about a father and his son who are homeless and live in the airport. Its a quiet and emotional read.

🎧 What am I listening to?

I’m listening to Ahmed Alshabia album Malahide. Ahmed self-taught himself the playing of Oud, and became popular for releasing covers of Pop songs with various instruments. Sadly, he passed away this past September in a car accident in the US at the age of 32.

In case you missed it, below is the new logo for Hazawi Podcast. I made several variations using Canva before this one, but I wasn’t satisfied. Until a friend recommended I seek a designer, and after a few conversations the designer came up with what I was looking for.
